I'm just about to give up on EMC Label Creator. I have got fed up with its unpredictable abi8lity to save a layout and load it again. SOmetimes it will work, but often the saved file just cannot be loaded. I have seen a variety of diffrent errors reported on loading, and now it has started hanging altogether.

I'm seeing this behavior in EMC8 and also EMC7.

Judging by all the other comments about other problems which people have encountered with Label Creator, I feel this program should be effectively declared totally useless! It is hard to see now anything could have reached version 8 and still have so many fundamental flaws.

Is there a question you have or just a mild rant? I agree that the program should be "exorcised." There are a lot of other free programs on the net that work well and will populate the label from your home burned CD. Look at Sure thing Labeler 4 (which will also do lightscribe if you want.)
