Do you really have Creator 2010 or Creator 10 (an OEM version) or Easy Media Creator 10?
Did you see any error messages?
Since you had two programs go belly-up, it may well be the OS installation or perhaps your hard drive. If you can, see if you can run ckdsk on your computer to see if there are any bad segments. You can do a repair of Windows but you will lose everything. Do you have you computer backed up somewhere?

Error message was programme had not completed and to try again some time later or words to that effect, that was after the roll back, the second attemptthcomputer just froze no messages
As I unable to start windows I am unable or without knowledge to use or run ckdsk.
If I decide to re-install windows how is this done I have put my windows disc into the removable player/burner with no result

It really sounds like you have a very sick computer. Do you have a friend that can help you with it? Go to the Microsoft site (here) or a repair (here) and get the instructions for reinstalling/repairing XP there. Do you have a set up disc from the computer manufacturer? Use that if possible. If that DVD drive is not working, then you may have to seek professional help.
I assume that the computer is fairly old; at this point you may want to see about replacing it.

EMC 8 is an obsolete program that worked for many people including apparently you. Your issue is new therefore something has changed. You had hardware issues and perhaps some updates that killed EMC 8 and Nero. No one will ever know why it stopped working. No one other than you knows what other changes you made.
Good luck. Since you removed the program, there is nothing more to discuss.
