burnig dvd

When using version 8, to duplicate a 19 minute home made dvd on either -R or +R dvd, they won't play on Toshiba or Panasonic but will on a Sony.  If a professional does it on +R, they work.  How can I do it with ver 8?...Bob

Try a different brand(s) of media.
If it works on your Sony, then the Roxio software has done its job.

How old are the Toshiba and Pansonic players?  Some of the older ones can be really picky about home burned DVDs.  Also CHEAP blank discs are more trouble.
