Roxio Easy VHS to DVD won't open when I double click icon.

I get this message...
An unknown error has occured. Application will shut down now. Exception: Configuration system failed to initialize.


My system specs are...
Windows XP Pro SP3
Quad Q6600 at 2.40GHz
2.75 gig ram
2 8800gt is SLI
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi
Samsung Writemaster DVD multi recorder


Any help would be appreciated.

Let's try this...

Do the Prep Steps to the letter!

Then start to install of the Suite, only pick Repair when it is offered.
