Yes...

But do you understand that video is video! It is only when you output it that it becomes specific.

You can add 20 different types of video into a project and only when you 'Burn' is it all set into the format of your choosing!

What the Suite cannot do is copy a PAL disc and burn an NTSC disc on the fly.

You have to use the Edit or Authoring program to first Import your PAL into it, then you can create a new Burn.

In other words, I can do that with any video application. I don't really need Roxio 11 for that purpose. I had actually made some transfers from pal using roxio 9 and idvd but the results are not as good as the original.

The results will of course depend on what quality settings you use no matter what applications you use. Quality will also depend on the length of the source video.

What is the source DVD? Is it a home-made video, ie not a commercial DVD?Does the DVD have a region code?

Please be aware that NTSC uses 30 frames per second, and 525 lines per frame(screen).

PAL uses 25 frames per second and 625 lines per frame.

Any conversion to NTSC will involve 're-rendering' the video, creating an extra 5 screens per second, and compensating for the different aspect ratio (shape), not to mention the different ways of dealing with color.

It will be very rare for results to be as good as the original without a phenomenal amount of processing.
