I finally was able to successfully burn a DVD disc from a .avi file format short movie using MyDVD Express from my EMC 8 Suite.

I also got a ROXIOPLASMA folder that is also on the DVD disc along with the Video_TS folder.

My questions:
What is the purpose of the ROXIOPLASMA folder?

Is this ROXIOPLASMA folder a normal thing that gets created in the DVD burning process?

All info and advice is welcomed.

Really, there's no purpose and you that folder should not affect your playing the disc at all. The only folder needed is the Video_TS folder.

The ROXIOPLASMA folder means the same as the AUDIO_TS folder on a commercial DVD.  It means nothing, and serves no usefull purpose MOST of the time.
