I created a video using MyDVD, Appx. 450 slides/music. Burned a dvd, but when I hit the play button on my dvd player it doesn't start playing the dvd?

Please advise how to correct this.

Thank you

When you place the DVd in your DVD player do you hear any music ? Either personal music that you added to the DVD or the default startup music ?

yes, I hear music and see the picture I placed when I created a menu before the video.

When you place the DVd in your DVD player do you hear any music ? Either personal music that you added to the DVD or the default startup music ?

Is the music you hear the default music that Roxio added as a preliminary  before anything happens or is the music you hear music that YOU added to the DVD when you made it ??

My disc shows closed your RW shows open, that might be Roxio not reporting a RW correctly? Do you have a DVD-R write once disc to burn the project? If so try it.

I tried your suggestion and used a dvd-r and it worked! Now when I put it into my dvd player/hd tv, I hit the play button and it works!!!!! Thank you!
Just out of curiosity I got the disc info on the dvd-r and it still shows open:
