I did not see a forum for Roxio Creator DE so I figure this would be a good place to start.  Please point me in the direction for the correct forum if this is not the correct one.

The Version of Roxio Creator DE is V9.1.573 SP1  this software was installed on my PC when I purchased it a couple of years back and have not used it until up til yesterday.
the issue is when I want to burn a data cd or dvd, I add the files that I want to burn and choose the location to burn the files ---- this is where the issue comes in  --- it brings up a box where i will choose the D: drive and than it has the Save as box where you can name it what every you want along with the file format -- image, gif etc.  I don't want an image I want the files to be burned individually as seperate files on the cd or dvd.
How can I correct this so that I can burn the files I want NOT as an Image File?

thanks so much.

You cannot use the "Save" or "Save As" option to create video DVDs. Video DVDs are "authored" and you have to use myDVD to do that. You have a nOEM version of EMC 9 and that has some features missing or crippled. myDVD may be one of these missing features. Do you have a program called myDVD (or Create DVD) as part of your version?

We are trying to burn one file (word document)and two videos that a user made from the office from their digital camera which one video is about 24mb and the other is about 100mb on to one CD.

No MyDVD or Create DVD is not part of the version we have.  I guess i will have to use another program.

thank you very much for responding.  :)

Sorry, I misread your first post, somehow I got the impression that you wanted to create a video DVD. I see now that you want to burn a data CD or DVD. So you can ignore everything in post #2 about myDVD or Create DVD.

You should have something called "data disc/CD/DVD" though which you should be using to burn data to a disc. "Save AS"  will only create project files and not burn anything.  What program are you using to burn the data?
