I've tried to copy two different homemade DVDs and when I hit the "Burn" button, the DVD is ejected and the screen says to put in a CD-R.  Both were made on DVD-R which is what I'm attempting to use.

Are you using Disk Copier to copy the DVD or Creator Classic?

If you are using Disc Copier, you can try burning the homemade disc to an ISO on your hard drive then, hopefully, you can burn the ISO to dvd with Disc Copier.....this assumes there is no problem with DC.
