How To Burn Pics From Pc To Dvd+R

I have Roxio on my PC but not sure how to use it to burn pictures from my PC to a DVD+R.

That will depend a lot on what you mean by " burn pictures from my PC to a DVD+R."
"Do you simply want to archive the pictures on the DVD or do you want to create a slideshow from the pictures.

While you did post in the C2011 forum, do you actually have "Roxio Creator 2011"?  Just stating "I have Roxio" does not give us any information.
