hi all
we are running creator 10.3 DE
Creator is being installed using altiris.
the installer has been modified so it only installs some of the components.
so we install the following
1. Core
2. Audio
3. Copy
4. Data
once these 4 have been installed we then run a rapidinstall package that removes the registration key for all users on the machine so when users start creator it does not ask them to register the product.
to be exact the key that is being removed is
current user\software\sonic\registration\roxio central core 3.0
rapidinstall allows me to apply this setting to all users on the pc.
my question is
how do i do the same thing on windows 7?
i cannot use the rapidinstall package because its not support on windows 7.
and i cannot seem to be able to apply this registry key manually as it doesnt apply to all users.
i cant push out a .reg key either because UAC stops it, and it wont apply it to all users
i have heard that active setup might work but havent had much luck as yet.
has anybody managed to work out a way to apply registry settings in windows 7 so all users are affected?
thanks!
Adam.

As you know, Creator 10.3 is an OEM packaged specified and installed by Dell. Dell is responsible for all support. You must contact them.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
