I have used BOT in the system restore type use recovering my PC to an earlier state and the system recovery part using a flash drive and ext HD. Very usefull when the HP service center in Thailand formatted my drive C/

I know this product comes with HP pc's but in theory could it be used if I bought a different brand, ie Acer. Would the dissaster recovery part of BOT work the same and I could make a recovery file and flash drive startup that I could save and put back into my computer should the worst happens?

I guess it was an impertinent question as no body answered and I'm expected to go out and buy the creator programme with 99% stuff on it I will never use?

No one here works for Roxio, unless they have a Roxio logo by their name.  Why not direct your question to HP?
