I am using Roxio Creator 2010
Version 1.2.193 SP2; 5.0.0.0
Build 121B; R03; 500B22A, R03

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I have 4 DVD Drives and wish to make multiple disc copies at the same time.  I may be missing something really simple but if you could lead me in the right way I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
Marty

Sorry, I don't have a screen shot handy, but when you click the "Burn" button, it should present you with a screen that lists all of your DVD burners.  You need to check the box to indicate which drive to burn with?  Select all of them.  It should automatically update the number of copies to make.

Hope that helps!

What are you trying to copy?  If a data disc, use "Burn Data Disc Advanced"  .   If other, please let us know what.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Sorry I have been working alot!  To answer your question, I am trying to copy an audio disk.  But I can try doing it as a data, because it's basically a single mp3 file that I am creating and putting on multiple disks.

Since the disc is a mp3 disc, it is a data disc anyway.

A audio disc is not a mp3 file.

A mp3 disc or data disc is not a audio CD disc.

I am sorry you are quite correct!  ... Here is exactly what I am doing. I created an mp3 file via recording software (Adobe Soundbooth) and then create an audio disk using Roxio Creator 2010.  Then I am copying the disk.  The task I am trying to do here is to make copies of a church sermon to give out to people upon request.  Some of the people have older cd players which do not recognize mp3 disks.  Thus the reason I am creating an audio disk from mp3 file.

So back to my original question with a slight correction: Can I make multiple "audio disk" copies simultaniously using Roxio Creator 2010?  Or am I adding a step that is not needed?  Can I create multiple audio disks at the same time from a mp3 file?  Skipping the copy process?

Again, sorry for the confusion, should have made myself more clear!

Thanks for your help so far!

Yes, use create music disc projects to make the audio CD from the mp3 file then check multiple burners on the burn screen as sknis shows in post #4..

Mark Twain (orr someone) one said somehting like "This letter would be much shorter but I just didn't have the time"

If you would have explained about the sermon, the mp3 files and the audio disc, this thread would have been much, much shorter.  Lesson for next time you have a question.   ;)

I don't see that you have received an answer to your original question Marty; burning to several drives simultaneously. This is an issue I have taken up with Roxio since the exclusion of this module post Creator 7. Their reply to my query was, to effect, that they had no plan to reinstate the module!! Why?
So I retain my Creator 7 for this purpose. One major hitch, if you are upgrading to later versions the later installs will wipe your Creator 7 off the drive! The solution is to hide the 7 pre install.
Would like to see a users push to get the Simultaneous Burn module reinstated or as an optional plug-in.

Please read post #4.;  apparently you missed it. The OP was burning a mp3 (audio) disc.  Are you doing the same?

Did you look at "Create Music Disc Projects" for  audio cd's?  It has the same dialog to burn to multiple discs.  You can also make an image file of the cd  that you can later burn if you need more than the number of burners you have available. You can use "Burn Data Disc-Advanced" aka Creator Classic to burn multiple discs from that image file.

By The Way,  any of the applications that open ON the Home page are  "lite" versions of the old applications.  They have some built in limits because they were designed to be down and dirty quick ways of doing things.  The applications that open a new window are the full versions of the old applications that you know.  The only difference is that Creator Classic does not burn audio CDs.  That was replaced by the "Create Music Disc Projects applications.

What "module" are you missing?  I've been using Roxio Creator versions since 7 and I can't remember any functionality that was lost; move, yes, but not lost.   That does not apply to add-ons from 3 party like the Xingtone.

Yes, you seem to have missed that it was said several time that you can burn to multiple drives simultaneously.  Merely select all the drives you want to write to, and make sure the number of copies updates appropriately, and you can burn multiple Audio discs, multiple Data discs, or even multiple DVD movie discs.  Not sure where you're getting the impressing that it can't be done.
