You might want to explain what you did, so those of us, who are not mind readers might be able to help you.

Of couse not, you made a movie of the images at standard definition (760 by 480). The best you can do is play the video in Video Wave or Media Manager and when a new image shows up, capture that image. It will be lousy resolution but it would be better than nothing.
What happened to the original images? In the future, use the original project in MyDVD rather than a converted file. In the DVD project settings, selet to archive the images. Copies of the original will be put on the disc.
If my chrystal ball is off, post the information that grandpabruce asked for.

You cannot play the DVD on your computer if you re trying to play it with Windows Media Player. It doesn't have that capability without a plug in. You can play it with CinePlayer or with the free VLC player (search fo rit on the web.
You cannot convert the movie file to jpeg. They are just not the same and aree no interchangeale. Read my post above. Take your time and try to understand what I wrote.
Again what you will get will not be to your satisfaction. Where are the original jpegs. If you haven't deleted them, then were unchanged and are still in the same location on your hard drive.

Did you burn the production in MyDVD? Do you still have your photos on your computer, or did you delete them once your slide show was burned to a DVD?
Most of your post doesn't make any sense.

..... and no back up?
I assume you used Easy Media Creator 9 and not something else like PhotoShow. I also assume that you used either video wave or one of the slide show assistants. Is that correct- which one? Please take the time to fully explain how you made the side show. Without that information , we are shooting in the dark.
Is the slide show on a disc or on your computer? On a CD or DVD ? You will need to copy the video files from the disc to your computer and then do some renaming dependent onCDd or DVD. Once you rename, you can open Media Manager Navigate to the video files and select one. You can then right click on the file and you'll see the option to extract image. You'll need to do that for each image. Put your disc in the computer and explore it. What kind of files do you see?
You are not tweeting to this site, you have more that 240 characters. Please supply the information or we will assume that you really don't want help. If you don't understand a question or are not sure how to answer it, let us know and we can ask a different way.
