Hello,
I have a Toshiba tablet PC that does not come with a built-in CD-ROM. The problem with this is that after booting the computer, I can't make a simple URL (HTTP) request to some website unless I kill the process 'DiskImageLoader'.

It's an annoying little bug.

Thanks!

Creator 8 is not supported on any tablet PC OS... and DiscImageLoader does not have this issue on supported Desktop OS...

Wrong, dear!

I've got identical symptoms on Windows XP Pro SP2 on Dell Dimension 8400. Nothing to do with tabletness or not.

I kill the DiscImageLoader process, and the logjam relieves itself.

P.S. My firewall reports DiscImageLoader is trying to visit the internet -- what's that all about? I've tried both "deny" and "grant one time" on different boots, with no different luck. [No way am I going to click "Grant forever never ask me again" until I understand what is it snooping/snitching!]
