I just started using Popcorn 2 on my Mac Powerbook G4. I am new to all of this. I am using MTR to extract files into TS files. When I click on the file and drag it into popcorn 2 it tells me that it cannot compress the TS file. Out of 10 tires I have only been able to burn 2 dvds onto disk. What am I doing wrong or is there a better program for extracting data such as handbrake? Any help would be most appreciated.

I'm not up to speed on ripping tools but I do know that you must do a full disc extraction with MTR for it to be accepted by Popcorn. I've read that new protection schemes are beyond the 2.x version of MTR and that a 3.x version is under development that can do better.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

tsantee,

Thank you for your help. It seems to have fixed my problem. I did not know that once you have extracted the data from the DVD you can then delete any extras and audio tracks that you don't want within the Popcorn 2 program before burning it onto disk. I appreciate it.
