Easy Cd 5 Creator

Recommended Posts

I have several cds which I created using easy cd 5.I have tried playing them on my laptop which has easy media creator installed and none of them would pay.

Roxio customer support told me that the different easy media creators are not backward compatible.

Does anybody know how I can salvage these cds because they have some outstanding music recorded on them/

Yes they did but I got rid of that computer several years ago.

I assumed that they would play in the new computer with a newer version of roxio creator. They play fine in my car and home stereo.

If they play fine in your car and a home stereo they are probably audio CD's.

What are the specs of your new computer?

What newer version of Roxio Creator are you running?

A version number would be helpful and was it a bought retail version or a free came with the PC version?

If the CDs play in your car or stereo system then those CDs were produced correctly. Playing them on your computer should have nothing to do with Roxio Creator. With what program are you trying to play them on your computer?

I bought the laptop last year and it is the dual core version but I do not have the exact specs.
