I have XP, and am installing Version 9.0 trial.  At a certain point, the install hangs, and Task Manager shows that a task is using 98% of the resources.  When I shut this task down, the install shuts down with no tangible results.  Will anyone who has a clue comment on this?

I looked and the OP may have been able to get a trial version off cnet.com; it is listed and probably safe.  The download may not have been completed properly. or the OP had the OP 's anti-virus running during install.  Suggestion: Re-download and install with the anti-virus off.  Use REVO uninstaller in the Moderate Mode if the install says it is already installed.

The OP has more than squat if the OP downloaded the program anywhere else like that off the internet.  The poster probably has an infected computer that needs to be deep cleaned.
