The play button in the video trimmer doesn't work when pressed...... it did work, until today,,
Have no clue how to fix this. Except reformat and reinstall everything.
This happened last year to me, but I reformatted it, reinstalled it, and it worked fine for a few months..
Help..
Windows Vista 64 bit.
8 gigabytes of ram

Now this is a better post.  You did not threadjack somone else's post so we can andswer your question without getting confusion.  Turn off your anti-virus, insert the program disc in your computer and select to repair the program when that options shows up.

Turn off/don't use any registry cleaners including those in your anti-virus program.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

thanks I will try that... I have already uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, and the Play button doesn't work inside the video trimmer.

i put in the disc for easy media creator 10 suite
and there isn't a repair option, just a reinstalling option..
I'm afraid my only option to reformat from scratch and then reinstall the program..... I'm sure one of the windows updates caused this..

You are posting in the Creator 2010 forums, which is 2 versions newer than Easy Media Creator 10.  Which of the 2 software suites do you have?
