Reading the Forum I found that I'm not alone with some of the problems, but having three, is a bit much. Here they are:

1) Certificate file missing or corrupted
2) S/W not found when trying to install SP2
3) Repair license: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Certificate processing failed.

I followed tech support's instructions about stopping virus checker, stopping startup programs and deleted the Sonic files in the C drive. Even deleted the entire program and re-installed it. Still no help. Actually, the program runs only once, following installation and PC reboot. After second reboot, it won't run and comes back with the same Certificate Not Found message.
Could the problems drive related? I'm running Windows 7 premium 32 bits on the E drive. Program files load on the E drive while program data loads in the C drive. In spite of chosing the C drive, the apps are still loaded on the E drive. Or, is the mess created due to running IE9?

Please confirm which program you have. You posted in the Creator 2010 forum but then you say "

Creator 10 Used To Run, But Not Any More".


There is no such program as Creator 10,  their is a Easy Media Creator 10 (not Win 7 compatible) and Creator 2010 (Win 7 compatible).

There is no such program as Creator 10,  their is a Easy Media Creator 10 (not Win 7 compatible) and Creator 2010 (Win 7 compatible).

Thank you Ogdens for your comment. In fact, I have Easy Media Creator 10 that you indicate is not Win 7 compatible. While you maybe correct, I have two resposes to this:
1) Roxio has my registration and shows Win 7 support
2) This used to work with Win 7 until recently.

Any comment?

Other users have experienced the same thing.  Works and then stops working. If you want to stay with Roxio you will need Creator 2010 or the latest Creator 2011 (both Win 7 compatible).

Nowhere was it ever said that EMC 10 was Windows 7 compatable. Creator 2010 was (and that was the first)

If you have an OEM version (Dell 10.2 was supposed to work in Windows 7) you have to contact Dell for support - none of us have that particular cut-down variant)

Remember, your the one that upgraded to Win 7!!!!!!.

Actually the 10.2 DE is not Win7 compatible  They have a 10.3 DE which is  

The list is HERE,  and EMC 10 is nowhere to be seen…

Anytime you upgrade an OS, you do so knowing that some older programs/hardware may not work  

It is Self Inflected Obsolescence and as ogdens points out, strictly voluntary  

I went to Win7 and had to replace 2 software programs, my $300 Scanner, a $200 A/D converter, and one of my camcorders
