Mpo Files To 3D Sbs Files

Question

After converting MPO files to SBS jpg files, the pictures, when viewed on my 3D TV are squeezed top to bottom and stretched side to side. The files are in 3D but squeezed and stretched.

1. Why?

2. How to make them show with proper proportions on the tv?

Going to need a lot more details

Take us through it, step by step, so that someone can duplicate your project.

Also some details on your Source mpo's... Is there a place we can get one to use for the testing?

My MPO's are from the Fujifilm real 3D Pix camera. I convert the files to SBS 3D JPEG's and place the files in a folder that can be downloaded via iTunes and iTV to my VIZIO 3D TV. When displayed the photos are compressed top to bottom and stretched side to side. The 3D is present but the pictures are distorted

Is Roxio Creator 2011 software used somewhere in your explanation above?

I just wish people would not use abbreviations until they explain what they are talking about. It took me awhile to figure out that SBS is "side by side".

I'm still working on mpo files. Google is not my friend in this case but I assume that it a proprietary format.

Aha, It is "Multi-Picrture Object" Now it is starting to make sense.

Perhaps if you gave us exactly how you did it.

How do the images look on your computer monitor?

It sounds like your TV is expecting the side-by-side image to be half width. The default for MPO, JPS, and side-by-side JPG is full width. When I look in Creator, it does not have a half-width JPG option, although it does have a half-width option for the import 3D video process.
