Unable To Use Instant Restore

Question

When I try to use instant restore and choose the date I want to go back to, I get the message window that says, "Unspecified Error"

I recently dumped Acronis for failing to work properly, and now I'm having the same problem with Roxio Back on Track.

 

Running Vista 32 bit, and for the last week my email takes almost a full minute to open. I just noticed today the the Roxio welcome page also stays on screen for almost a full minute while it displays the word "Loading". All other programs and sites seem normal so far.
