Hi,

I was wondering since I am interested in recording Console(xbox360) in-game footage.

Is this Roxio Game Capture for Consoles compatible with MAC OSX? Or do I need to download special drivers for it then?

Please let me know,

Timothy de Vries

Minimum System Requirements:
    Microsoft Windows® 7, Vista™ SP2, XP (SP3 for 32 bit & SP2 for 64 bit), Intel® Core 2 Duo Processor 1.8 GHz or AMD Athlon x2 64 2.0 GHz, 2GB RAM
Other Roxio programs do not run well in emulation mode (BootCamp or VMWare) So I doubt that this will.

Sorry, perhaps in the future?

No,  but I'm sure that Cauptain will have something to say.  He probably knows of a game capture that will work on a Mac.  Since this program doesn't he can suggest the name of somehting else.

Hi Timothy,

Your MAC is mid or high end?

if you can get a friend RGC product and try using a virtual machine (Virtualbox - freeware).

My I5 captures flawless with RGC using virtual machine (Vmware).

Hello DevliegereM

I will rely on my own experience with a MAC friend.

We installed bootcamp Windows XP and tested with EasyCAP. Worked perfectly

YES, you can install RGC via Windows bootcamp without problems. But remember, Windows XP/VISTA have some trouble with RGC. Try Windows 7.

Roxio Game Capture only record a 480ip & 576ip.

Your console can setup up 1080i only because passthrough for TV. My default is 720p on my PS3, 480ip on my PS2.

I guess you should have looked at the minimum specifications that were posted for the product and also posted above.

If you bought it within 30 days directly from Roxio then get your money back.  If you bought it elsewhere then you are at the mercy of who you bought it from.

If you trusted a poster who came here once, a year ago and never returned, then I fell sorry for you but no where should Roxio be responsible.

By the way, Caiupain was banned for trying to promote other software on this site after being repeatably banned.  I don't know anything about that other poster.

I think this thread should now be closed.  It doesn't work with Apple or an emulator.
