Hi folks. I have 4 disc images that I made with Popcorn 4. I now want to combine those 4 disc images onto one DVD. I tried Copy then the Image File & then dragging the .toast image into the content area. That worked well. But then I drag another .toast image file into the same content area. But this second .toast image file replaced the first .toast image file. Is there a way to place all four .toast image files into the content area without the image file replacing the previous image file? If this is not possible, how can I combine all four .toast image files onto one single layer DVD.  Thanks for your help.

Are you wanting the image files themselves burned to a DVD or are you wanting to have the video from those image files together on a new playable DVD? The former can't be done with Popcorn because you need to burn them as a data disc. This can be done with Toast or even with Disk Utility. If you are wanting to create a new video DVD with the content of the disc images the mount each of the disc images and use the VIDEO_TS folders setting to create the combined DVD. If you want a menu then use the DVD video setting and extract the video from the mounted disc images using the DVD setting in the Popcorn media browser.

Hi Tsantee. Thanks for the info. I want to create a new video DVD with the content of the disc images. I mounted the dics images & used the VIDEO _TS folders setting & dragged the VIDEO_TS folders into the content area. I do want a menu but I can't find where the DVD video setting are. Could you please explain the steps to creating a menu in a more basic  manner?   Thanks again.

Here's how to do it and get a menu. Choose DVD-Video as the setting in the Popcorn Copy window. Mount all of the existing disc images. Choose DVD with the top button of the Media Browser. The Media Browser is a separate window. If you don't see it choose Show Media Browser from the Windows menu. The media browser will show some text for each of the DVDs. Double click one of the text items and you'll see a thumbnail and title name for each video that is in that disc image. Drag what you want to the main Popcorn window. At this point a new window will open giving you the option to select all or some portion of that video. Presuming you want it all just click okay. Now do this for the others.

You are then ready to set up the menu the way you want. You can choose a menu style and edit the text for the menu item. You also can select the thumbnail image that appears for the menu button by clicking on the image and dragging the slider that appears below.

Hi Tsantee. Thanks for the step by step instructions. They worked fine. But after the multiplexing I received the message that there was not enough free space on this disc. 4.78GB are needed, 4.38 are available. I can not edit any more from the disc images that I am working with. Is there any way that I can compress any of these disc images so they will fit onto a single layered DVD.  Thanks again for your help.

Choose Save as Disc Image. It will save the too-large file. Then select the disc image using the Image File setting and click the burn button. Popcorn will execute its Fit-to-DVD process to "requantize" the video so it will fit your single-layer disc. That doesn't take long and won't have any noticeable effect on quality given the small amount that needs to be reduced.
