the error code is-  Program:... gram files\Roxio Creator 2009\videoWave11.exe

i was trying to Edit a tivo movie. in video/movies, creat dvd advanced.
I got the files from "my tivo recordings" folder .  every thing else works but edit video.
i have tried to edit before and it was very slow and it lagged to the point of total non funtion, and then most time it would totally freeze up and i would have to ctl alt delete to get out of it. i did a complete uninstall and reinstall with the service pack 4 and now i can't edit it at all. I get the runtime error.

no new updates or applications to my computer.

runtime Error; Program:... gram files\Roxio Creator 2009\videoWave11.exe
computer info
microsoft windows xp professional version 2002 service pack 3
dell
xps
processor speed 2.60 GHz
mem; 4096 MB
intel® Core™2 Quad cpu
9400@ 2.66Hz 2.67 GHz 3.25GB of Ram

If anyone can help me i would be extremly grateful ;)

When i go to Edit Video in MyDvD I get a runtime Error that says ; Program:... gram files\Roxio Creator 2009\videoWave11.exe  then i click ok and MyDvD disappears. I wont burn a dvd unless i can do this so as of now this program is useless to me until i can get it fixed.

Runtime errors are caused by many things (link) so we have to do some troubleshooting.

More information needed.  Did this just start?  What kind of movied and where did you get it?

Can you edit the video in Edit Video -Advanced (Video Wave)?

Please give us this information (link).
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I would if I could but I'd probably give you a bum steer since I have never seen a TiVo file.   Tyhe purpose of my question was to eliminate general issues and now someone can concentrate on the TiVo files.  Have you search the data base for "TiVo"?   There are a lot of them (link) some of which you can elimiate right away.

Are you editing those files in Edit Video-Advanced (Video Wave) or in Create DVD ?

Remember we are users who may or may not be around on weekends.

No, I am aware that every one here are users. Trust me if this was roxio I would take a different tone.( because I'm so fed up. I paid for this and it's useless)  Ok I'll check the TiVo  threads ,thank you for the suggestion. I'll  give that a try, you never know. Even though I don't feel it's a TiVo file issue because even though it's been awhile since I tried other files to edit,  it happens with Everything I try to edit.  This problem happens in both video wave advanced edit and creat DVD. When u go in to both they take u to the same thing to edit.
