Help us help you - what is BB software? Did your Roxio software come with your Dell?
Did you do this and not just try to delete all Sonic/Roxio registry items? That will get you in trouble. If you dodn't do that, try it. If that doesn't work, then....
Download Revo Uninstaller from cnet.com and use it IN THE MODERATE MODE to try to uninstall the Roxio software. If you can't find the software in the uninstaller windows, then there is a free trial of the Uninstaller Pro that is supposed to uninstall partially installed programs. I have no used it for that.
Turn off all registry cleaners (except for the one that cleans up your registry in Revo).

I tried both those programs... they could not find roxio media manager. I did completely uninstall any roxio products I could find using add/remove programs including BB programs. Apparently windows clean up utility isn't available anymore

So BB isn't BlackBerry? Steve did ask you what BB software is. It is tough to help when you have to pull teeth to get answers to questions.

Did you do a search for BlackBerry, in these forums? Check out those 2 links that I have in Post #3 of this thread. Something there may help.
