I have Region 2 DVD's from Japan. I wish to make a copy and convert it to Region free NTSC format. I don't want to have to change the REgion code on DVD Player as you can only do that a few times.Does anyone know how to do that?

I could be wrong, but I think Japan uses NTSC as well (someone correct me if I am wrong). Unforutnately removing region encoding isn't something that we can talk about here on our forums. I will just say it can be done and leave it at that.

Well I am in same situ as you . me from UK living in Toronto. My DVD burner will only allow 2 more changes efore it is stuck at PAL or NTSC. DVD Burners are so cheap i have 2 in my pc , one locked at PAL and one at NTSC. !!!
Steps to make NTSC to PAL or PAL to NTSC. Rip the dvd using shrink or decrypter. I presume these are legally purchased dvd's like mine are. Just in wrong region code. You now have VOB Files
Purchase a bit software called Video REdo. $50 US or so) Using Video Redo, it will take the VOB files and make mpegs. Then using EASY CD 8 burn the mpegs as NTSC or PAL and play on DVD Player. I have done this and quality is great in both audio and video. Hope this helps
