Now, I'd like to do the same on my new Toshiba Portege R705-P35.
The software installs no problem in both WinXP and Win7 that I run on the laptop, but in both I have en error in sys.tray saying "no supported drives" or something like that.
The CD drive that I have on the laptop describes as follows:
"Fixed Optical Disk Drive
• DVD SuperMulti drive supporting 11 formats
o Maximum speed and compatibility: CD-ROM (24x), CD-R (24x),
CD-RW (10x), DVD-ROM (8x), DVD-R (8x), DVD-R DL (4X),
DVD-RW (4x), DVD+R (8x), DVD+R DL (4x), DVD+RW (4x),
DVD-RAM (3x)"
I can read a DirectCD formatted CD no problem, in both installs, just can't drag and drop, or delete anything.
Anything I can do about it? The older software apparently does not recognize the new hardware. Any updates?
thank you!
