i am running Roxio Creator 2009 SE on Windows XP. I am trying to backup some data files to CD rom.I open the "burn data disk" application.First I try to append to an existing roxio data disk that I successfully burned about one month ago. and which is nowhere near capacity. I cannot do this. Next I insert a fresh new CD rom disk and drag the files I want to burn over to the burn window. I hit "go" I keep getting a pop up window for the Roxio update manager saying "the feature you are trying to use is on a network source that is unavailable" I can't get rid of this popup window by checking close or cancel. This annoying window simply won't go away.I do not wish to update, I simply want to burn data to either an appendable CD or else a new CD to serve as a file backup. Any suggestions?
