Does anyone know how to go about playback of a DVD after you have burned it? I thought I had a DVD player installed on my machine, but not able to playback any burned DVDs or regular movies.

Is the DVD mounted on your desktop when you put it in your drive? What happened when you used "DVD Player" to play the movie?

Yes, I can see the DVD on my desktop. I don't have a DVD player to play it with though...or do I? I've never been sure of how to play a DVD back.

There is a DVD player application that comes with the Mac OS. Just search the Applications folder for DVD Player and that should locate it for you.
