Just wanted to use up space on the disc...

Simple answer - no. What kind of ISO file? What kind of DVD?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I have no idea what type of .iso and the disc that it will be burnt to is a 4.7 GB DVDR-

Soapie, where are you getting the iso image file?

An ISO file is a complete image of an optical disc, with all its contents, indexes, and structures.
Creator 10 is able to make an ISO, but to later add data to the disc or image you need to be able to edit the structures and indexes and Creator 10 can't do that. It requires a special program. Also, a finished CD-R or DVDR disc which has been closed cannot be reopened to add more data.

In addition to what Brendon said, if you are trying to add files to an installation disc, there's a good chance that it won't work as the md5 checksums won't match
