I'm stuck trying to rid myself of the lines when in videowave 10 test editor.
Putting together a slide show where I want to add 3 lines of text to a single still picture.
The lines show up like boarders around the 3 lines.
I've added it to the internal text track of the selected pane.
Tried to take a snapshot of the screen with is attached.
Your assistence is greatly appreciated.

My apologies...it is the old, very old version.
Thought the 10 stood for 2010.
Using the software from my Dad's computer.

It is just possible that you chose the style that had the borders or chose that text setting. Watch this tutorial (link) and/or this one from a couple of years ago. The red frame is still visable so you haven't clciked it to get it inserted.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

What sknis said, check that you didn't inadvertently add a frame ... select the text and click on the third tab in the Text Settings (Frame). Make sure Shape is set to none. You may have to repeat for each line.
