You asked two questions Import and Edit.  Are you able to import the files to a folder on your computer?  Do you have the latest version of Quicktime installed?  If not, install it.  Can you play the video files in any video player?  What do you see?

Please answer the above questions (all 5 of them).

I have the same issue with a Samsung HD camcorder.  I can view the files on my computer.  Same issue with my old computer (4 years old) and my present computer which is fairly high end...Can you help
