I have added the files I want to my Storyline and have not added any transitions.  When I play the clips together, the last 3 seconds of each clip's audio has been removed (just ends really) but the video is still going.  When I preview the clip it plays correctly until the end, but not in the storyline.  I have unchecked the fade out button on the volume, but is there something else I am missing?

Thanks,

Greg

Have you played the clips in Windows Media Player, or some other player, to see if you have the same results?

Yes.  I just played the clips in WMP and they play all the way to the end of the clip with full sound.  Only in the timeline does it cut off three seconds early.

Thanks for responding!

Do a small project using only one clip on the timeline? Still the same effect?

Another check is to make the native audio track visible, select it and then click on the "edit envelope" icon (the one to the right of the microphone icon). Does the audio envelope extend to the end of the video clip?

Yes and yes.

I created a brand new production and only included one clip.  It still cuts off the last three seconds.

I also tried the audio envelope and that shows it has audio until the end of the clip but the moving line stops at the three seconds to go mark.

Thanks,

Greg

I have the same problem.  I have Roxio 12 and am using VideoWizard, and the video cuts off in one spot in the beginning and the last few seconds in the end.  It plays in Windows Media Player.  It also plays on Videowizard at the correct speed.  I tried converting it.  I tried renaming the extension.  When I preview the sound track, as others have noted, the graph shows the audio ending while you can still hear it playing a few seconds afterwards.  There is a glitch with Roxio.  I am surprised that the problem has gone on this long and is still here in July 2012.  Roxio, please fix this problem.

Thank you.

What program do you have? There is no Roxio 12 or do you mean Roxio Creator 2012? What is VideoWizard.

Hijacking a thread that is propably not related to your program is not useful. Nor is just a "me too" to describe your problem.

If you want help, post in the correct forum for your program and give some details on your problem. There is no indication at all what your are trying to do or are doing.

If there was a glitch with Roxio everybody would be reporting this problem.

BTW, this is not Roxio support but a users forum. Corel/Roxio employees seldom drop by.

When you do start your own thread, tell us about the video you are trying to use.  Where did you get it and what is the format.  Please note that mov files from digital cameras being used as camcorders will run the audio fast.  Is that what you are hearing?
