I can play cds and dvd with my cdrom but when i try to open Roxio i am getting this......."All your drives are set to disabled. On this system in order to start Roxio creator basic 9 you must either physically remove your drive(s)or enable at least one drive"  I check everything in device manager and it say it running correctly, also i uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it and i still get the same message.

Do you have EMC 9 or Creator 2009? These are two totally different applications

Also, what operating system are you using as neither EMC9 nor Creator 2009 will work in Windows 7
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
