Currently broken.  Im sticking with 10.6.x for now on my main computer.  It tries to launch, but icon at top wont stay up there and hard to reopen after.  Nothing will drag in or add to the list to share.

Total broke just like when 10.5 came out.  

I only tested with Toast 10 (latest build) but this program seems identical to one in Popcorn 3 and I only assume Popcorn 4 and Toast 11.

Any other news? TIps? Suggestions?

ETA FIX?

PS: Tivo has no clue its broke.  I asked.  Yay 3rd Party support for major feature of device.  (ie TiVo Premiere.

Lion and Tivo transfer are not compatible and support is less than acceptable. Taking info if this is the first time they hear about this issue and other than a "ticket" no straight answer.
They should be able to do better than this.

TiVo Transfer works for me in Lion. What is broken is Mac2TiVo.

Agreed.  I can't even add/drag any folders to the application.

Another VERY frustrated Mac2TiVo user! We use this app all the time, and it sucks not being able to use it with Lion.

I'd like to know how you got TivoTransfer to work.  It does not work for me on Lion even after upgrading to Toast 11.  Roxio is telling me it's a known bug but they have no release date.  I find it infuriating as I only bought Roxio so I could do the TiVoTransfer function on my Mac and I even paid $60 for the upgrade to Toast 11.

It just works for me in Lion the way it worked before. My guess is that it isn't Lion that is preventing TiVo Transfer to work for you. Search this forum and the Toast 11 forum for posts about TiVo Transfer and you may find some troubleshooting steps that get it working on your Mac.

Mac2TiVo is fundamentally broken in Lion. I deleted the MediaData File, triple checked the Firewall (open to RXTivoServer and Mac2TiVo). This is with 1.2.1 of MacTiVo and 10.7.4 of Lion.

The console has the repeating memory errors:

I don't know if the product is dead (they are no longer working with the original vendor) and Roxio doesn't want to admit it, or why they offer nothing in response to people in this forum. If you look at the start date, this has now been going on for years. If they have a known bug, what is it? The knowledge base if a very mixed bags, mostly relating to old versions of the software and TiVo Desktop. Nothing about this problem.

We know there is an update to Toast 11 coming but no word about anything included in the Toast 11 bundle such as Mac2TiVo. My bet is that Mac2Tivo doesn't get fixed. The number of people wanting it probably is declining due to the streaming features in TVs, Blu-players and devices such as AppleTV that provide better picture quality. Even if you don't have streaming on your TV, if you have a TV or Blu-ray player that has a USB plug in you can copy your videos to a USB flash drive and connect that to the TV for playback.

Another user just pointed out to me that Mac2TiVo 1.2.1 does work with Mountain Lion. I just gave it a go and it is working fine for me, too. Maybe it was fixed with one of TiVo's system updates. Everything is working between my Mac and TiVo right now running OS 10.8.2.
