I'm having trouble burning to DVDs.
Here are my system specs:
OS Name Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium
Version 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Build 6002
Other OS Description Not Available
OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation
System Name
System Manufacturer Compaq-Presario
System Model FJ474AA-ABA SR5507F
System Type X86-based PC
Processor AMD Athlon Dual Core Processor 4050e, 2100 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD 5.14, 5/2/2008
SMBIOS Version 2.4
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
RAM: 3.0 GB
So here is the situation. I have some MP4 videos that I wanted to burn to DVD using Roxio MyDVD.
I created a project and put in a few transitions. I added a menu and then validated the project. I inserted a DVD+R and pressed the red burn project button in the bottom right corner. I set the burn speed to 8x. It started encoding and burning, but after the dvd was ejected and reinserted it was not playable. I then tried burning again this time at 16x speed with a DVD-R. It was ejected and it was readable, but the video had lines in it wherever there was quick movements. I thought this might be because I burned it at high speed. So I used a DVD-R at 2x speed and burned it, but it was not playable.
Can somebody help? Is my computer up to the task of video editing and encoding?
