I'm trying to convert video using copy/convert and it starts the conversion process but then gives me a runtime error.
Program:.... (x86\Roxio 2010\Video Convert 12\VideoConvert12.exe

Any ideas?

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I searched this forum for the Runtime Error with this version and found a solution that looks interesting. Here it is. Try it at your own risk and take your time and be carefully.
If that doesn't work, come back and let us know. You may have to do a complete uninstall and reinstall.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Ok tried that to no avail. First thing I did was uninstall and reinstall it btw....via add/remove programs.

BTW, have you installed SP@ for Creator 2010?
Are using XP?
Use REVO Uninstaller in the Moderate Mode to remove the program and all the registry entries that are safe to remove. There are a lot. Disconnect from the Internet and then turn off and not just pause your anti-virus (some may have to be uninstlled and then reinstalled). Reinstall.
Revo is free and you can get it from cnet.com.
