On several occasions I have had to reload software because PhotoSuite 10 gives a run error of PhotoSuite10.exe Run Error. Is there an alternative to solving this as I'm guessing it a Registry error.

It is indeed possible if you are running an over-active registry cleaner. You have two options:
1) Don't use it - Get rid of or turn off your registry cleaner. It has no value anyway (except to the people that sell them).
2) Adjsut your registry cleaner to ignore all Roxio and Sonic entries.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
