Bottomline :  What did you change between the time it worked and when it didn't work?

In Video Wave, go to tools, options and select software encode.  Try doing a project now.

Bottom line: I don't know what has changed in that time. Windows updates, installed Spotify, installed Google Music Beta, none of which should affect the video drivers.

I can't go to tools in Video Wave. Video Wave *will* *not* *open*. INsufficient graphics capabilities, etc.?

Something HAS to have changed - apps don't normally fail suddenly - something causes it to happen.

Trty uninstalling the Beta and Spotify in turn and see if that makes a difference. Always remember that installing ANY beta software is 'at your own risk' - it's not finished and WILL be buggy (that's the whole point of beta - you're testing it for problems)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
