Hell All.  I normally don't have problems with the Roxio Creator Business v10 and I can't seem to locate the right board for that software.  I've been able to successfully create iso image disc in the past without fail, but with regard to the last 3 images I keep getting the same error (pasted below and a screen shot attached)

Sense: 05  ASC: 24  ASCQ: 00 (Command 1B)
-------------------------------------------------------
Px.dll: 4.10.22.500
PxAFS.DLL: 4.10.22.500
pxdrv.dll: 1.2.31.0
PxMas.dll: 4.10.22.500
PxSFS.DLL: 4.10.22.500
PxWave.dll: 4.10.22.500
pxwma.dll: 1.0.0.3

Yet, 3 things worth noting....  1) I have updated the "px" files so that more disc are deemed compatible.  2) I have unistalled and reinstalled the Roxio Business Creator v.10 and also removed the DVD-RW drive and reinstalled the drivers.  -No issues appear to be out of the ordinary.  3) I have Win7 64 bit at home and XP Pro on another PC with the same exact Roxio software and the error is the same on both machines.

So, I'm curious about two issues here....   I don't know why my DVD Disc (DVD+R 4.7GB) is only showing up as a 4.4GB available.  And is this simply 3 bad images that were created and now won't burn?  Suggestions??

Thanks in advance and I appreciate any guidance.

Manufacturers quote the capacity of a writable DVD         disc in decimal (base 10) rather than binary (base 2) notation so a 4.7         GB disc stores 4.7 billion bytes          [4:700,000,000 bytes ÷ 1000 =         4,700,000 KB ÷ 1000 = 4,700 MB ÷ 1000 = 4.7 GB]         . Expressed         in binary notation (as is typical with CD-R, CD-RW and most operating         systems) the same disc has a capacity of roughly 4.38 GB          [4:700,000,000         bytes ÷ 1024 = 4,589,844 KB ÷ 1024 = 4,482.27 MB ÷ 1024       = 4.38 GB

How big is that iso file?

Two different things here

The error code is from the drive itself and not from the software (the drive reads the blank disc and senses the capacity, rated burn speed, etc and also does a mechanical check)

5 / 24 / 00      INVALID FIELD IN CDB

The second thing is EMC 10 is not compatible with Windows 7 and the earliest version that would be is Creator 2010
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

1)  You should be able to create a virtual drive on your computer's hard drive to load those ISO files to check them out to see if they are readable.  I believe that EMC 10 has that capability.
2) Try  using a third party program like Imgburn or ISO burn to burn the ISO to the disc.  You should be able to find one at cnet.com.   Be careful if you go to their developers sites, there is a lot of garbage there.

That should tell you which is the problem.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Yep - but he is also trying to run it on Windows 7 (which is bound to fail anyway). It was just a warning.

The same sense code on two machines sounds more like faulty media anyway
