My computer was wiped out by a virus about two months, purchased and installed Photoshow 5, have DVD with slide show that plays on Cyberlink PowerDVD 9 as a Photoshow but cannot restore to application.

Are you asking if you can copy/capture the DVD to your hard drive and edit it in PhotoShow 5? No that is not possible. What you have is an authored DVD movie disc. The files on it are VOB which are mpg2 files. They are not PhotoShow formatted files.
Do you/did you have the PhotoShow uploaded to the web? If so you can download it from there. It sounds like you do not have the Premium Membership so I think you may be out of luck.
