I have Creator 2011 and need to be able to burn DVDs. I consistently get encoding errors 8004520c when I try to burn. I have performed the recommended defrag and was only able to burn one disk. I have plenty of free disk space and memory. I am running XP. I have also tried burning to an ISO file and folder set. Always these fail with the encoding error. What does it take to get this to work. I used Roxio several years ago and found it to be undependable. I had hoped that this version would have resolved that. But my current experience is not helping.
I am just loading wmv videos and burning them to a DVD. Nothing special or advanced. Why won't Roxio work?

How long in time is your total project?
Have you updated your video card drivers?
Have you tried switching to software rendering if currently set to hardware (under Tools/options)

The project size is 4172 MB
The computer is a work computer that I cannot update video drivers on, but I will request it.
The rendering is set to software not hardware.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Sorry but project size does not mean anything. We need the time length of the project.
A standard 4.7GB DVD can only hold 60 minutes of video. Any longer and the video gets compressed and you run into other problems.
Since it is currently set to software, have you tried hardware?
