Until yesterday I was able to burn MyDVD project and play it on my laptop and Marantz 7600.
I made a few edits, saved and re-booted, then successfully burned
(100% complete) as before, but now neither my laptop nor Marantz 7600 can play it.
Three menus and 14 buttons, DVD DL, Best, just over 8Mb.
I tried both: burn and save, and just save and burn later, with the same poor results.
I have no idea what changed since it worked before!

I would guess that that is what you need to figure out, because it appears that whatever change you made, caused a problem.

Thanks for your response.
I attempted to repair Roxio using the MS "Add or Remove Programs" display,
but it could not find the source code file (*.msi) at ..../temp/pftB4.tmp/
I originally purchased and downloaded the Easy Media Creator 8.0,
but after all the fuss I can't find the file it needs. I should have
requested a CD copy. How can I obtain that file?

You are welcome. You could try contacting Customer Service. They should be able to help you. I think that it used to be $10 to get it on disc, if you purchased the download version. I am not quite sure of the cost, though.
