Since last week the trimfunction isn't working anymore. The little screen that opens stays black and the play button does nothing.
My computer runs VISTA (that's why I had to buy the 2009 in the first place *grrr*).
I already reinstalled the programme and downloaded an upgrade (spack 4), but it still isn't working.
Without this function it is impossible to edit.

How can I fix this?

Use Video Wave and use the split and delete method. Watch this.

Some other people have experienced the same issue and I don't remember if there was a definitive fix. The potential cause was out of date video card, running an over agressive Registry Cleaner and the only fix was to uninstall and then reinstall the software. Read this   and this.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I don't like the split and delete method  <_<

I do run CCleaner a lot (also register). So yes, there can be a problem. But I already reinstalled the software and I still have the same problem.

:(

Just reinstalling the program over a broken onewill not fix the dll issues that you have.  Follow the instructions for uninstalling, updating and reinstall with the anti-virus off.  Do not use the registry cleaner part of CCleaner.

The uninstaller I downloaded from this site (the link) says that I'm not authorised to run it. I have to do it over as the administrator. But I am the administrator

Can I use CCleaner to remove Roxio? Or is that still not clean enough?

When removing I get a message: unable to find a certificate file.

You have a sick puppy for a computer.

Download and run the free Revo Uninstaller (moderate mode only) and then reinstall.  It is more selective than CCleaner for removing the registry entries that need to be removed.  Don't be surprised at the number of registry entries.  Look before you download; the site has recently been adding "other things" to download.
