I have been asking tech support for several months but no solution. either they don't listen or the solution doesn't work
Probably caused by update to Windows (around June or July) - but a present my Roxio DVDitProHD software is worthless and just taking up space on my C drive.

I have Windows 7 Pro Service Pack 1 with all updates and DVDit! HD Pro works very well. So the probleme is not an update....
Maybe a new installation will be a possible solution.
Try to uninstall and clean Registry with CCleaner or another equivalent software. After this operation reinstall.
Good luck!!!!

you may have to disable windows defender service, a hidden troublemaker
and you may have to exclude the DVDit Program folder from your AV scanner
