new at this, been using roxio ez cd & dvd creator 6 for the past almost 9 years and just within the past year upload music from a cassette to roxio music editor. i may load it up on cassette player (basically using a 90 minute tape) 45 minutes per side. never had a problem til about the end of last year and now out of 45 minutes it will only show around twenty minutes. by the way, lately i had been getting slight gaps in the audio waves using sound forge 9 which i bought recently and the audio does not sound right. i have tried vinyl before but haven`t used the roxio program on vinyl lately. so far i`ve tried roxio support and can`t find anything on older program. i have the new roxio creator 2011 but having hard time installing it. i am running windows xp now. i had the old adaptec when i got my system using w98 but then friend told me to use wxp. like i said, been using roxio easy cd & dvd creator 6 for years for years, am not a new at using it but don`t have the experience at adjusting computers, thanks much........mike

Creator 2011 will run on XP (the new one by the way is 2012)

If you're getting audio drop out, it could be down to your sound card - have you tried for updated drivers (from Realtek, Creative or whoever it is)?
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

If you're having problems installing Creator 2011, have a look at the installation forum for Creator 2011, HERE

If you can't see a topic in there which solves your particular problem, post a message there describing your system and the problem you're having, and we'll try to help you.
