When I open roxio creator 8.2 XE, and want to make a DVD, I click on either "create or edit DVD project", or "Quick DVD creation". The program starts to open and the screen appears, but then a windows error box appears and says, "VideoWave 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close.....send error report or don't sent...etc. I have tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling both the driver for the drive and the software for the burner. I am running Windows XP and have about 7.5 GB of memory free. I am wondering if maybe there is not enough memory?? I don't know what else to try. I have been able to copy from mini DVD's from my camera to a normal DVD fine, it's just the creator that isn't working. I'd like to be able to put more than one mini DVD onto a normal DVD and also use files from my computer to add. Help, please.
MyDVD 8 won't load

This software is OEM and you might need to contact the company you purchased it from for help.

Memory is a term usually used when talking about RAM in your computer. I am making a guess that you are talking about the free space on your hard drive. If that is so, you need to free up a lot more room or get a larger hard drive. I recommend both.
Also, I have not heard of the version of EMC 8 that you have. Where did you purchase it?

Bruce, I googled it and Mad Dog appears to be one of the drive mfg. that includes this software. There's not much out there on it that I can find.
Thanks, Paul. In that case, I have no clue how the OP's version works.
