I am attempting to restore files to an XP machine for a friend whose hd crashed.  Her backup files are on an external drive.  The readme file for version 5.0 states that USB drives are not supported however she was able to back files up to the drive.

She now has a Windows 7, 64bit computer which I assume is not compatible with 5.0 Backup MyPc.  I would like to restore her files onto a secondary drive that I've installed on my XP machine. BackupMyPC is loaded but the Restore From does not list that drive nor can it find the C drive. It sees only card reader files such as SD cards but nothing else.  I'm not familiar with this product but would like to help her out and restore her files for her if possible.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
