Mac laptops and desktops will not recognize the discs I burn on my Windows XP computer using ROXIO CREATOR DE 10.2. This is the basic disc-burning software that came with my Dell computer.
Can anyone tell me:
1) How can I update/fix the program so that MACS will be able to view my discs?
2) Do I have to buy a PC version of TOAST that will enable me to burn discs for MAC on my PC??
Cheers,
Chris

1) You have an OEM version of an older Roxio product. It has been modified for use on the Dell computer. Because they design the OEM version, Dell is responsible for the support and any and all updates. You must contact them for support. They have a lot of support Q&A and they also have a users group.
2) There is no PC version of Taost.
What kind of disc are you trying to burn - data, audio, or video? You mention view so I assume that you want to watch video discs. Have you tried downloading and watching the discs using the free VLC Player for MAC? What format video do you have? An authored DVD should play on a MAC since it is a standard format disc. You author a disc by using Create DVD with Creator 10.2 DE.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
